Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4How good or wise is in taking a neutral stand orotherwise not attached to anything (people, dogmas or belief system) incorporate?
Many people do believe that by being neutral, they can avoid controversy & public wrath and enjoy freedom and independence. Being neutral means one not getting attachedor affiliated to anything like people, any particular dogmas or belief systems. But the question is that whether the above standor approach holds any merit or sense. Willsuch an approach gives any extra edge to people in corporate.
Look at the anatomy of canines especially thedogs. The skeletal architecture of dogshas the finest answer for the above question. The shoulder blades of the dogs are not attached to rest of theskeleton. This will enables absoluteflexibility to the legs of a dog while running. When the shoulder blade is located freely, it can certainly movefreely.
If it had attached to the skeleton, the flexibilityand freedom of the bone will have certain restriction. Imagine how beautifully the nature hasunderstood this management approach and has tried out the same in the skeletalarchitecture of dogs.
Nature also teaches another important managementmessage to the corporate world through its above experiment. The people when show no personal attachmentor affiliation to anything can enjoy absolute freedom, flexibility andautonomy. This is the first managementteaching. The second importantmanagement message/teaching also essentially comes from the first experiment ofthe nature that is dogs.
Whenone is not attached or affiliated to anything enjoys great amount of freedomand flexibility. Equal to the proportionof freedom and flexibility they enjoy, problems are also plenty. Among many animals, dogs are the worstsufferers of joint problems in the legs and most of such problems are permanentin nature. Since their shoulderblade is not attached to the skeleton, they easily get fractured orinjured.
When one is attached oraffiliated to something such attachments/affiliations also offers someprotection. The message is that everylimitation has an advantage and every advantage has some limitation.
This absolute management wisdomnot come as just theory, nature has conducted several experiments by creatingmany species of plants and animals and has tested and proved the sanctity ofsuch wisdom.
The corporate leaders haveseveral management lessons to learn from nature. Learning is possible only if they haveopenness and acceptance that they have lot to learn and nature has lot toteach. Improvement and improvisation ispossible only when the newer knowledge is admixed with the preexistingknowledge.
